Description
Pulteney House is a large, elegant Victorian house set in its own picturesque west facing gardens, with fine views of Bath Abbey.
There are 16 rooms with en-suite facilities, and 1 with private facilities that are opposite the room. All have colour TV, hospitality tray ( with a selection of drink options ), hairdryer, radio/ alarm clock and are centrally heated. Free Wi-Fi is available in most rooms and in the communal areas. There is a computer for guests to use in the sitting room if you do not have your own laptop, so you can keep in touch with all important e-mails.
Pulteney House has been privately owned by the Lloyd family for the last 30 years who provide a warm homely welcome to all guests. Help with luggage is always offered.
The large mature gardens are always kept in beautiful condition and guests are encouraged to utilise them where children can play in absolute safety.
A comfortable family TV lounge is available for guests to use and relax in away from their room.
There is a large secure car park with CCTV coverage for guests to leave their cars.
Breakfast is included in the room rate, which includes a buffet where selections can be made from a variety of cereals, yoghurts, and fruit juices followed by a cooked breakfast. A varied cooked menu is provided although special diets can be catered for with notice.
It’s locality provides a perfect central base, from which all Bath’s fine tourist attractions can be enjoyed. These include Thermae Bath Spa, Roman Baths & Pump Rooms, Theatre Royal, Royal Crescent and Circus. We are also conveniently located within a 2 minute drive from Bath University . The Centre of Bath is only a 5 – 10 minute level walk. Bath Spa Train Station and Bus Station are only a 10 minute walk or 2 minute taxi ride away. Bristol Airport is about 40 minutes by car.
